Annabel Astbury is Head of Digital Education at the ABC and is working with a great team to deliver the ground-breaking free education website ABC Splash. Previously, Annabel was a classroom teacher and has also worked closely with students, teachers, government and cultural institutions to promote education and learning with ‘digital’ technologies in her role as Executive Director at the History Teachers’ Association of Victoria. Annabel enjoys writing, reading and sharing her views about education because it proves her theory that education does matter to the general public.
